Jerry's Place

How many bars do you know of that have been open for 5+ years but only have two Yelp reviews under their belt? Probably not many, but Jerry's Place fits the bill. This unassuming little watering hole is located in Holland, TX, a town of 1,121 that's probably best known for its annual corn festival, referred to as "The Corn Fest" by locals.

Inside you'll find a simple sports bar with several TVs, a pool table, and a clean bathroom. Lone Stars are $3, so the price is nice. I can also imagine some Fast and Furious vibes at this place over the weekend because right down the street is the @thelittleriverdragway. There were some real mean-looking rat rods pulling in on my visit. Exactly the type of place Kurt Russell from 'Death Proof' would hang out.
